A complex amalgam of melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre and
silence in a particular structure or format.

Type of India music styles:

1. North Indian Style  -  8 Notes

      SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI SA

  Three Octave's

                       1. High

                       2. Mid

                       3. Low


 Instruments:

      sitar, sarod, surbahar, esraj, veena, tanpura, bansuri,     shehnai, sarangi, violin, santoor, pakhavaj       and tabla

2. South Indian Style

 SA RI GA MA PA DHA NI SA

 Instruments:

   venu, gottuvadyam, harmonium, veena, mridangam, kanjira, ghatam and violin.


3. Western Music Style

 Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do

Hindustani music is mainly found in North India. Khyal and
Dhrupad are its two main forms and ragas such as Hijaz Bhairav,
Bhairavi, Bahar, and Yaman.
